I am from Le Mans region, which is located in northwest France, known for the 24 Hours Le Mans motor race.
During the early 1980s, I had the chance to reside with my parents in Abu Dhabi for four years.
After school, I would often spend my time fishing and looking for insects, which led me to start my own collection.
I have memories of my father returning home from various trips with different animals such as frogs and insects, from the countries he visited for work.
When I returned to France, I studied art in Le Mans, where I learned painting, sculpture, and photography.
During the mid-1990s, my career took me to Hong Kong, an energetic and creative place where I worked as a designer for a decade. It was there that I met my wife, and together, we traveled to places like Indonesia, the Philippines, Macau and China.
We are currently settled in Mumbles, a fishing village in South Wales. Walking along the coastline is something I love to do, seeking inspiration from the nature around me. I capture photographs and sketch interesting details that I later incorporate into my work.
